> This was in Paris. Way before I started demonstrating myself, against climate change.
My then-boyfirend and me, the one moment we were enjoying musicians. The next moment we were in the ‘line of fire’. Everything changed so quickly.
I was intrigued how people reacted when the tension built up. The young police men who looked for support. The excitement of civilians that happened to pass by. The way the people demonstrating contained the rage of the group. As sudden as the tension was up, it was down.
Afterwards there was the boredom of the cleansing team. For them this was business as usual.
